CHESHAM MG NATTER : 22nd (Summer) SPRING CHICKEN RUN
Wednesday 15th July 2026
Come and join us for a day out with a Tulip Road Run and visit to the Oxford Bus Museum and Morris Motors Museum at Long Hanborough, followed by Afternoon Tea at the Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel at Aston Rowant.
Please submit your Entry now as numbers are strictly limited.
For the Tulip Roadbook Runs to both venues Neil and Graham have devised a route with different points of interest on the way.
The day will commence when we meet at Harpers Restaurant, Chiltern View Garden Centre, Wendover Road, Stoke Mandeville, HP22 5GX promptly at 9.30am. Please park in the main car park as close to the Natter’s sail flag as possible, and then proceed to Harpers Restaurant to check-in and receive your ‘Tulip style’ route book. A choice of bacon, sausage or egg bap and tea or coffee will be available after you have checked-in. Please arrive in good time to sign on and have your snack, after which we will set off on the run, departing by 10.30am.
The first Tulip Route will take us to the Oxford Bus Museum, Station Yard, Main Road, Long Hanborough OX29 8LA, with the opportunity to browse the wide range of vehicles and interesting exhibits. There is a small café should anyone wish, but leave room for your Afternoon Tea!
After this visit the second Tulip Route will take us to the Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel, London Road, Aston Rowant OX49 5SQ, where we will be served a tiered Afternoon Tea with sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones, cakes and tea/coffee. There is an option of a glass of Prosecco for those who wish.
Your Spring Chicken Entry includes the breakfast snack, the Tulip Route Book, entry to the Oxford Bus Museum and Afternoon Tea. Should you have any questions about the event please contact Richard on 01494 728253 or [email protected]
The Museum are anticipating we will come in a MG or classic car, so hopefully we can all respond somehow.
Entries will close as soon as we reach 25 cars, or by 30th June at the latest.
We very much hope you will come and join us, and celebrate our 22nd Spring Chicken Run. If so please complete and return the attached Entry Form and make payment.
Regards,
